DVD 2012 Success

Renown Engineering exhibited at DVD 2012 which took place at Millbrook Proving Ground Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June. The event is organised by DE&S, the part of the MOD responsible for equipping and supporting the UK’s Armed Forces for current and future operations.

Renown Engineering was represented by Stephen Barlow, Ben Moore, Tom Moody and Paul Brown. The team found the event to be a great success for Renown Engineering and an effective forum to present our extensive experience of providing products and services for UK Land Vehicle programmes.

Thank you to everyone who visited Renown Engineering on stand C3-06, it was a pleasure to see you.

Whilst at DVD 2012, the team took part in the ‘Millbrook Alpine DVD Challenge’. The 5K run was set in Millbrook Proving Ground and aimed to raise money for Help for Heroes.

Millbrook Proving Ground is one of the most challenging vehicle testing grounds in the world and simulates almost every conceivable land condition across the world. The team were faced with diverse terrain from sand and gravel to steep tarmac and grass hills with gradients up to 33%.

Congratulations to the team on their fundraising efforts and completion of the race.
